1972 BMW Bavaria M30B35
This came to us with MANY MANY very nice things already done to it. Full interior, heated seats, nice paint , and suspension. The new owner wanted it slightly different though.
It's current drivetrain was a M30B30 with a 5 speed manual trans. The new owner wanted a fuel injected M30B35 with an automatic transmission.
The owner is an 85 year old woman that wanted a classic BMW to tool around in. We swapped in a M30 from an E32 with the matching trans. Don't worry the manual trans was saved in case it needs to go back in in the future.
Here is a bit of the process below. If you want to see more pictures of the build scroll down to the gallery at the bottom. We did end up refreshing the head on this engine as the valve seals looked to be leaking. After some shake down it was a great driver!
