S54 going in!
With the custom oil pan built the S54 could actually fit into the iX.
The engine mounts from the iX M20 are re-used on the S54 after drilling and tapping the S54 from M8 to an M10 bolt.
We used a spec 2+ M20 clutch to hold the power of the S54.
The best way to fit the engine and trans in is from the bottom. I'm not sure going from the top as one unit could even happen.
Lining everything up to go in
Stock headers chopped down and v-band installed
Engine, trans, front diff, tcase bolted together
Brake booster is going to have to go
About the same radiator room as a RWD E30
