The last days of any build seem to slow to a crawl. After all the major work is done, things seems to slow down a lot. They don't really, but the nature of things makes it feel that way.
Not many pictures to show about that process. The last days come down to making sure things like panel gaps are right, all the lights work, any squeaks and squonks are silenced, nothing binds, things of that nature. After all, it's the fiendish little details that can ruin an otherwise stellar build.
These little touches can really eat up as much time as something more complex. I recall the passenger window eating up nearly an entire morning and early afternoon. There was a gap that just would not close. The regulator was replaced and still needed adjusting before the window finally sealed. But all that work is worth it, and we hope you agree.
Nice and wide.
Round and big. Sir Mixalot approved!
That shark nose is timeless.
